RESOLUTION
The founding resolutions of People of Power LLC, establishing our purpose, programs, and commitment to the youth and families of St. Louis, Missouri.
Preamble
We, the members of People of Power LLC, a Missouri limited liability company, do hereby adopt the following resolutions in furtherance of our mission to empower youth, strengthen families, and build a more just and supportive community in St. Louis, Missouri and beyond. These resolutions reflect our unwavering commitment to the young people we serve and the community we call home.
Resolution to Establish People of Power LLC
Be it resolved that People of Power LLC is hereby established as a limited liability company in the State of Missouri, organized for the purpose of providing youth empowerment, leadership development, mental wellness awareness, autism advocacy, and positive community engagement programs for children, teens, and young adults.
Resolution to Designate Principal Place of Operations
Be it resolved that the principal place of operations for People of Power LLC shall be located at 3850 Sullivan Avenue, St. Louis, MO 63107 — a historic property built in 1899 — which shall serve as a safe and supportive hub for youth, young adults, families, and vulnerable individuals in the surrounding community.
Resolution to Affirm Core Program Areas
Be it resolved that People of Power LLC shall operate the following core program areas: (1) Youth Empowerment & Mentoring, (2) Leadership Development, (3) Mental Wellness Awareness & Advocacy, (4) Autism Educational Support & Advocacy, and (5) Positive Community Engagement — serving individuals ages 6 through 25 and their families.
Resolution to Pursue Funding and Community Partnerships
Be it resolved that People of Power LLC shall actively pursue grants, donations, sponsorships, and community partnerships to sustain and expand its programs, with all funds directed toward the direct benefit of the youth and families served by the organization.
Resolution to Restore and Utilize the Sullivan Avenue Property
Be it resolved that People of Power LLC shall work toward the full restoration and activation of the historic building at 3850 Sullivan Avenue as a community resource center, providing safe space, programming, and support services to the youth and families of St. Louis, MO 63107 and the surrounding region.
Resolution to Uphold Organizational Values
Be it resolved that People of Power LLC shall operate at all times in accordance with its core values of empowerment, compassion, integrity, community, excellence, and inclusion — ensuring that every individual served by the organization is treated with dignity, respect, and unwavering support.
These resolutions are hereby adopted by the members of People of Power LLC.
